BO/05/03655/LBC – Trippet Cottage The Trippett Shore Road – Addition of a

75mm DIA diameter flue to new condensing boiler.

Approx 4 metres high attached to windowless brick gable

wall on East side of building. No objection.

BO/05/03755/FUL – Shearwater Bosham Hoe – Minor amendments to garage

of previous application no. BO/04/04228/FUL. No

                                   objection.

BO/05/03822/DOM – Furzefield Bosham Hoe – Alterations, single storey front

and rear extensions and new garage building. We have no

objection to this application, but consider that the new

garage/pool lounge should be approved as ancillary to the

                                    main dwelling.

BO/05/03828/DOM – Furzend Bosham Hoe – Single storey extensions for the

replacement bedroom (1st bedroom removed) and to

Planning Applications on Weekly List – 19th October. 2005

DEB

The following planning applications were considered:

BO/05/03800/LBC – 2 Gloucester Terrace Bosham Lane – Revisions to

permission BO/04/01900/LBC. Increase width of dormer

by 200mm on rear elevation and alteration to tile hanging

. (Retrospective). The Parish Council wish to thank you for

the changes that have now been made to this property, but

were, nevertheless, surprised that the matters which have

now been put to right, were allowed to be overlooked by

the Planning Department in the first place.

BO/05/03959/FUL – Watersmeet Smugglers Lane – Replacement of existing

dwelling with 1 no. new dwelling. We object to this

application. Whilst the building does not, on the face of it,

occupy a significant increase in the size of the footprint as

compared with the existing dwelling, the increased ridge

height to nearly 9 metres adds significantly to the mass

and bulk of the dwelling, which is located in a prominent

position within this highly sensitive part of the harbour.

With regard to a new build, which requires ground floor

levels to be 4 metres above Ordnance datum, this may

further exacerbate the height problem. The urban character

of the design is out of keeping with the rural scene.

The following planning application was considered:

Other planning matters

Land West of Dovecot House, Old Park Lane

Members NOTED that the proposal of the applicant to erect an agricultural building on this site does not constitute permitted development under the relevant provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995, and an application for planning permission is therefore required.
